Congratulations to Lynda Green for being in remission and to Stan DeWitt for his upcoming CD release party at the Gaslamp on November 6th. They are an awesome couple. Together they have raised over $8,500 for Breast Cancer Angels and we applaud them for their efforts.

Salon Cache Wine, Women & Hope

Salon Cache in Huntington Beach on October 28, 2009 hosted a wonderful evening of Wine, Women & Hope to benefit Breast Cancer Angels. Guests enjoyed wine tasting, salon demonstrations, tasty snacks and each guest received a certificate to return for a FREE Blow Dry and Style.

Thank you Angels- 2009

This year we received dues and donations from our “Angels” of over $150,000. We received an $11,000 housing grant from the Downey Short Foundation and $10,000 from Diversified Thermal Services. Clause for A Cause 2009

Jim & Ann Steinmetz deserve special mention. Year after year they get dressed up as Santa and Mrs. Claus and go out to raise money for us. In 2008 they raised over $20,000 and we thought with the economy 2009 would be half that, but surprise! They raised over $22,000. They are truly amazing.

Andrea Bowman’s hosted a Holiday Luncheon and Boutique on November 15, 2009 in Torrance to benefit Breast Cancer Angels at the Torrance Marriott. This event featured shopping boutique and lunch, dessert and raffle. This wonderful event raised $5,400.
